Summary - The iPhone 15 Pro is an excellent phone that offers most of the same features present in the iPhone 15 Pro Max for a cheaper price, and what features it does not have are not overly necessary for the average user. It is a good upgrade in terms of build and design, with the lighter weight and the transition to USBC being of particular note.
Overview - Build - The iPhone 15 Pro comes in a titanium chassis replacing the glossy stainless steel, with a matte brushed metal frame which provides some fingerprint resistance. It comes with color options aptly named as natural, blue, white, and black titanium. The new chassis provides a notable reduction in the phone’s overall weight, without sacrificing durability. There are also the slimmer bezels and a new contoured edge design around the screen, giving the phone a unique feel in comparison to previous generations.
Overview - Features - The iPhone 15 Pro has an impressive array of features, starting with a 48MP sensor main camera that offers ProRAW format images for improved editorial control, the Dynamic Island notch from the iPhone 14 Pro which provides easier access to active apps and Live Activities plus more display space compared to the standard notch, ProMotion 120Hz refresh rates for smoother movement through different parts of the interface, and Always-On display for keeping both lock screen and notifications in view at all times.
Overview - Performance - The iPhone 15 Pro comes with the new A17 Pro chip, which boasts up to 10 times faster processor performance, 2x more total neural engine cores, an AV1 decoder enabling faster video streaming, and a fully redesigned GPU which supports hardware Ray Tracing in games.

Camera - The iPhone 15 Pro camera system has a variety of features. It has Dynamic Island from the iPhone 14 Pro variants, and has 24mm, 28mm, and 35mm shooting focal lengths. The camera setup itself is a 12MP telephoto lens selfie camera with 3x optical zoom, and an upgraded 48-megapixel main camera with a larger sensor. It can shoot spatial video, and has a different aperture size capable of taking close-up macro photos. Photos are now 24 megapixels by default, rather than 12, with improvements to smart HDR Tech, portraits and low light.

Display - The iPhone 15 Pro display measures 6.1 inches, but the phone’s overall size has been reduced thanks to its thinner bezels.
Operating System - The iPhone 15 Pro comes with the iOS 17 operating system, giving access to a variety of features, along with a second generation Ultra Wideband chip.
RAM - The iPhone 15 Pro has 8GB RAM, which is the same amount installed in an entry-level MacBook.

For charging speeds, getting to 50% with a 20W charger will take the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro 30 minutes, while the iPhone 15 Plus and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will take 35 minutes. All variants come with iOS 17 with its improved ultrawide band connectivity for more precise locating of AirTags, other Find My-enabled items or a friend's given location, plus the Roadside Assistance feature on top of the existing Emergency SOS and Crash Detection capabilities.

Issue - Build - The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max’s titanium build is softer than stainless steel, less scratch resistant, and impossible to polish, thus making the eventual scratches very visible, especially on blue and black color options.
Issue - Design - The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max not having the gold color option is speculated to be due to additional manufacturing processes needed to incorporate said color to titanium in comparison to steel. The muted color options for both phones in general are unappealing to some users.
Issue - Manufacturer - Display - The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max thankfully have 120Hz refresh rates, but the fact that the non-Pro variants retain 60Hz is a point of contention for some users along with the price for said variants being seen as inappropriate.
Issue - Performance - The iPhone 15 Pro and its variants, even with the new USB-C port, have no discernable improvement in terms of battery life and charging speeds.
