Build - Well-built, aluminum chassis and metal base plate feel solid, there are rubber feet on the bottom, smallest Keychrom keyboard, more compact than Q1, features an exploded arrow key cluster. There is a layer of foam between the plate and PCB which reduces vibrations, gaskets are poron, incredibly swishy, one on the bottom side and top side of PCB.

Keycaps - Keycaps are doubleshot PBT, slightly wobble, solid, looks slightly rounded, shorter and stylized, OEM spherical angled shape felt nice to type on, taller than usual.
Controls - Q2 has switch between Windows and macOS modes, has 3 different switch options, can be Gateron G Pro Red or Pro Blue, and hot-swappable. There is a variant that has programmable rotary knob, knobs feel nice and high quality which can be remapped to QMK and VIA.

Keychron Q1 vs Q2 - Q1 has impressive quality, has a good screw-in. Q2 is 65% version of Q1, composed of CNC milled aluminum, heavy, weighs 3.6lbs, compact, wired only, starts at $149 for barebones, well-made, has a sheet of lightweight foam and the bottom and the plate assembly can be removed, brilliant despite its size, gives high-quality and premium typing experience, keycaps are made of a high-quality doubleshot PBT and has an extra gasket but it doesn’t have function keys at the top. Both of them sells for about the same price, are compact, easy to customize, felt amazing to type on and hotswappable

Q2 has better stabilizers, supports VIA and QMK software, has a ton of features, easy to use, comes with upgraded features, quiet sound, sounds better than Q1, connects via USB- C, macro-programmable, available on Windows, Linux and macOS.
Keychron Q2 vs GMMK Pro - Both of them are wired mechanical keyboards with hot-swappable switches. GMMK Pro has 75% form factor, has better latency, and only comparible on Windows. Q2 is more compact, has 65% form factor, hotswappable, programmable knob is only on certain varianrs, and Windows and macOS compatible, knob is smaller than GMMK but is removeable and made out of metal.
