Lifespan - The HealthPro Plus has been running 24/7 for the last 3.5 years without issues, and filters just had to be changed, although the pre-filter just needs to be cleaned, and it can be re-used. Performance-wise, during cooking, it can eliminate the smell within 15 to 20 minutes. Though the fan noise can be loud at settings above 4, keeping it low will only produce a hum.

Build - The HealthPro Plus is a 28-inch tall, 15-inch square, and 35-pound air purifier with curves at the bottom, making it more compact. It uses an entirely stainless steel body, a bottom-to-top air flow structure, and an optional set of 4 wheels, and all materials used are Swiss-made, with quality and durability. It also employs a 3D Ultra Seal technology, which prevents air from coming out without passing the filtration system, ensures that the filter media is 100% sealed in the filter frame, and it guarantees a knife-edge-in-groove sealing between the filter frame and the airtight housing.

Controls - On top of the IQAir HealthPro Plus is a 4-key touchpad with 16 characters 2-line LCD to turn the device on and set fan speed. The panel can also be used to check the remaining life of the various filters and to program the air filter for auto-mode. There are also colored LEDs to determine filter life, where green means 80% of life is still left while blinking red means replacement.
Design - The design is unstable when opening for filter replacement, and the indicators look antique as it hasn't changed for over 10 years.

Still, it has features like an advanced timer, an advanced fan speed setting to add a preset, and a filter replacement indicator. Also, it comes with a remote control to operate the device.

Air Flow - The bottom-to-top airflow is done with a big intake air vent at the bottom, which draws the polluted air through air filters and releases out from the 320 Degree air outlet from the top. It also has an EvenFlow Diffuser technology, which makes the air filtration process quietly and evenly distributed in all directions. Performance-wise the IQ Air has the most airflow on max power, which is impressive considering it has more filter media to slow the air down, so the fan would have a lot higher airflow with six power levels which went down to 24 CFM on low power.

Performance - The IQ Air purifier has been around for 10 years and was used during the Avian Flu. Until now, it’s still used by doctors, and it produces an air quality similar to a fresh mountain air in Switzerland. It also created a big difference in air quality in a low-air circulation basement. The IQ Air, which capture particles of 0.003 microns also works well with dander, and bushfire articles. You can even run it 24/7 as it’s quiet enough to let you sleep. After running on max for 24 hours, it was able to make an immediate difference in air quality specially with odor reduction.

Price - The HealthPro Plus retails for $900, and the whole filter set of Health Pro Plus costs $380. It costs $150 to $200 more than the Blueair Classic 605, Alen BreatheSmart 75i or AIRMEGA 400S. In Canada, the HealthPro Plus costs $1500.
Value - If you’re capable of paying $900 then stick with the HealthPro Plus as it has both power and design. The IQ Air costs can be too much to be given a perfect score but it’s as close as to a smartphone perfection. However, some believe that $900 for a unit with 300 CFM is poor value, and air purifiers at $150-200 with 250 CFM will be a better option.
