The 211+ Auto is quiet, has a nice form factor and a new automatic mode which will change fan speed according to air quality. Overall, it will be a more intelligent version of its predecessor.
Value for Money - The 211+ Auto offers an intense price-to-performance ratio, and it’s rare to find a competitor of the same price that can match its CFM-rated speed.
Performance - The 211+ Auto brings more power and headroom for a compact air purifier while saving power and remaining quiet. Performance-wise it’s ranked S though it lacks some basic features for a $300 price point, and its annual cost is higher than its predecessor.

Air Quality Indicator - The air quality indicator can be found on the side of the unit. It shows different colors based on air quality; blue for good, yellow or orange for moderate, and red for worst. Also, it will adjust the fan speed according to air quality if set on auto mode.
Build - The top of the unit is the motor, and it can be removed to reveal the filter, which is the bottom part. Pre - Filter - The fabric pre-filter of the 211+ Auto is found outside of the unit, and it is easy to clean with a vacuum or by washing, but dust and pet fur may easily accumulate on it as it’s outside the unit. The pre-filter is attached via velcro for a tighter seal, and it can be customizable as it’s offered in different colors.
Auto Mode - On the first tap, the unit will be set to auto mode, which means that the fan speed will be adjusted automatically according to the detected air quality in the room. Performance-wise it can pick up speed and power within seconds of detecting poor air quality.
Everyday Mode - Pushing the button from low mode will bring you to the medium or everyday mode, which can move a great amount of air without sounding loud.

Highest - Setting - The highest setting can be loud as it will be exerting the amount it’s rated for, producing an insane amount of airflow, which is advisable for very dirty air and larger areas.
Night Mode - Setting the 211+ Auto on night mode will dim the lights; however, it will also slow the fan down, which doesn’t work as well as the daytime setting.

Alternatives - The HPA5300B and HPA 300 are both great alternatives though their motors are different from each other. The bearings are more audible in the B, and it has an auto mode and manual mode that measures VOCs rather than dust. On the other hand, the A is quieter and cheaper.
Blue Air 203 - The top models of Blue Air seem to have weaker motors and fans, similar to the 203, 205, and 280i, but overall the 203 was the most powerful.
Value - The 211+ Auto has become more expensive than its predecessors at $339, but it’s still a worthy candidate for best air purifiers with its CADR rating per watt and performance.

Issue - Some issues of the 211+ Auto includes the lights turning on as soon as it is plugged in, producing loud noises at medium or high setting, and poor customer service.
Target Consumer - The Blue Air 211+ Auto is targeted towards consumers with lots of pets, very dusty places, and large rooms such as dining and living rooms, as this device can effectively clean the air in those areas.
Overall - The Blue Air 211+ Auto is a quiet unit that you won’t notice when it’s on low setting or auto mode, and the air is clean enough though an audible noise will be heard at higher settings. Also, the washable pre-filter is excellent, along with the form factor.
