Air Quality Indicator - The air quality indicator can be found on the side of the unit. It shows different colors based on air quality; blue for good, yellow or orange for moderate, and red for worst. Also, it will adjust the fan speed according to air quality if set on auto mode.
Build - The top of the unit is the motor, and it can be removed to reveal the filter, which is the bottom part. On the other hand, the outside is covered with a Scandinavian-inspired customizable pre-filter that comes in the Arctic Trail version as default. Overall, the 211+ Auto retains the rectangular shape with dimensions of 20” tall and 13” wide and deep, and airflow also remains bottom-to-top.
Button - The 211+ Auto has a single-button design used to adjust different features. It serves as the power button and fan speed selector.
Clips - Clips on each side of the unit can be pushed in to take the unit apart.

Indicator Light - The status light is located in front of the unit. It will give a solid blue color when the unit is turned on, and all indicator lights will light up if the device is set on auto mode, and lights will go off when the device is turned off. Also, the air particle sensor will flip between blue, red, and orange according to air quality but will stay red if filters need to be replaced.
LED Status - If the button is pushed again, it will show the device status through the LED on top of the unit.

Filter Replacement Indicator - The filter replacement indicator will turn red after 6 months of use, implying that the filters need to be replaced, as the 2-in-1 filter only has a lifespan of 6 months. To reset the indicator light after replacement, you must hold the reset button for a few seconds.
Filters - The filtration system is composed of a washable or vacuumable pre-filter, which is found outside the unit dedicated to catching large particles and lasts for a few months; a particle filter made of polypropylene fibers dedicated to capturing 99% of allergens instead of a True HEPA filter; and an activated carbon filter inside the particle filter and is dedicated for filtering odors, gases, and VOCs. Also, the primary filter should be replaced after 6 months of use.

Particle - Filter - The 211+ Auto has a particle filter made of polypropylene fibers, which is free of chemicals and is naturally antibacterial for capturing allergens and contaminants. Also, it’s made of recyclable plastic.
Pre - Filter - The fabric pre-filter of the 211+ Auto is found outside of the unit, and it is easy to clean with a vacuum or by washing, but dust and pet fur may easily accumulate on it as it’s outside the unit. The pre-filter is attached via velcro for a tighter seal, and it can be customizable as it’s offered in different colors.
UltraHEPA - Filter - The 211+ Auto doesn’t have an UltraHEPA filter though most consumers suggest it.
